I'm sorry that George W. Bush is a slightly racist republican that think war conquers respect. I'm sorry foreigners think we are all like Bush. I'm sory that we, partly thanks to our government, come off as closed minded-in cases that we are. Darfur- I'm sorry we're not doing all that we can to help you. Iraq-I'm sorry we invaded your land for a pointless war. All middle-eastern countries: please dont hate us. give us a nother chance, we don't think you're radical islamists. most of us see you as actual people. Sorry Mexico for USA's assumption that you're all illegal aliens. (New Haven, CT doesn't think so!) And I'm sorry everyone who has any intelligent and truthful negative thought about the USA, please dont let our politics shape our personality.

i wish i could feel that my apology was sincere, since i know that i've done more than most to oppose this president's power hunger. i"ve been chased by police, watched friends get arrested, and heard the stories about the lengths that this government, under any president, is willing to take to ensure it's own power. our elected officials are to blame, for ignoring our protests, ignoring their constituency is the one thing that cannot happen under a democracy, without consequences.

I wish I could be sorry, and I ask our international brothers' and cousins' to forgive us as though I were, but, I have a news flash for ya: WE allowed OURSELVES to get where we are, and have only OURSELVES to blame. The Bush cabal could have been impeached years ago, if WE had only the cojones to go after them for the felonious fascists that they are. We need to begin cleaning our own house before asking the forgiveness of others.

I really regret the fact that we've allowed this tyrant and his ilk to undermine the integrity of our voting technology to such an extent that we cannot trust any future results. Their success in co-opting the Supreme Court in 2001 emboldened them to proliferate automated voting machines that will dance to a faceless puppet master's tune. Our brave and fragile experiment in radical democracy has come to a tragic end.

Bush is like a kid who enjoys playing with matches, lighting anything in order to watch it burn.......I hope he lights those who gave him the matches. Sorry to everyone who's life has been destroyed because of him.

Dont worry. There are just as many people around the world, that understand, that America is not Bush and vice versa as many of you feel sorry for Bush being your president. We dont know your candidates that much, but we know, we dont want Bush to be your president.

Europe is with you, though it might not seem so now and then!

There is still hope...

I'm sorry Americans are primarily going through an evolutionary regression and being so, I think they elected themselves an appropriate leader. However that is no excuse, So I formally apologize on behalf of our demented ape leader and our civilization of blind sheep.
Don't worry though, we'll destroy ourselves in the long run.

I am extremely sorry the american people dont have the balls to do anything about our president. However horrible he is, and this site certainly shows it, we have certainly lost our power, as if an election means he has 4 years of invulnerability.

Hopefully one day we'll recognize this is a country for the people BY the people, and that we have every right to walk into the white house and demand an explanation for every action he takes, regardless of what anyone else says.

The simple fact that such an imbecile has taken control of the government and the most we can manage are measly protests is the true downfall of the american superpower. When we, as a people, stop thinking that "ignorance is bliss" and that 1 more year is ok, 1 more month is ok, one more MINUTE is ok, the sooner we are on our way to regaining the respect of our elders, our children, and the rest of the world.

I am truly sorry for what our country has done. Unfortunately, I was not old enough to vote until this year. Hopefully we can get it right this next time around! I certainly hope it can't get any worse than the crap Bush has gotten us into right now.

Sorry. Really. Don't think bad of us all! Maybe we can wear name tags so you wont get us confused with the idiots who voted Bush in when we go to other countries. I'm sorry our corporations are taking over our politics and ruining it for the rest of us and you.

I did vote for Bush the first time. I am sorry he has been inept as a leader and a failure in analyzing issues, on his own or by committee. It doesn't look like this country will soon be able to have a leader who makes decisions by critical analysis of issues rather than based upon a set beliefs. Lets hope the next president is values others more than Mr. Bush has.

It saddens me to think of how America must look to other countries with an incompetent chimp like George Bush leading it. I was not old enough to vote against him in both elections, but I'll be old enough this time to vote for someone who can fix the mess he made.

I am sorry for and disgraced by our president and the bush administration's current & past actions/inactions, abuse of power and of the constitution of the U.S., as well as, international law and relations, their hypocrisy, idiocy, ignorance, lies, war-profiteering, murdering and over all destructive corporate-mongering. I am even more sorry for what I fear might be worse events yet to come.

I did vote (against bush) but feel completely disenfranchised. I don't know what kind of government we are actually living under or the kind of people running it but it is clearly not an honest, fair or democratic one.

Ultimately, we ARE going to have to take action as a UNITED people of America to protect our rights, our freedoms and our Constitution of the United States of America, so shall our government take full responsibility for it's actions.
