Hey third world, sorry for all the terrorism that our presidents and their big business buddies have caused you. We're really mean and greedy people. I am not sure why. In interpersonal dealings, we all seem to be nice, but whenever I start talking to my pals about social justice or economic equity, they just get really weird. Maybe there's something in the water. Although I respect the office, our current president has not earned the respect that comes with the office. I am sorry that he was allowed to come in and quadruple the national debt in less than 9 months in office. I am sorry that he has bad mouthed the country to the world. I am sincerely sorry that we elected GWB for two terms in a row. We're trying to make it up by electing sane and intelligent people, but their opposites are continuing to oppose us. It would be great if you sent aid, but it'd be more effective if you just sent AIDS to the people that agree with neo-cons. It would be nice and ironic, with their saying that AIDS is a disease transmitted through gay sex.

I would like to apologize most profusely not for our presidents both past and present, but for our citizens. While it is easy to lay blame at the feet of our presidents, these men would have never been allowed to have such control were it not for the ignorance and apathy of the American public. They fall for the same tricks again and again, believing that either Democrats or Republics will save them while never fully exploring those implications and understanding that the system itself is to blame rather than any individual political party. I apologize for our Christians. I apologize for our capitalists. I apologize for our ignorant masses who would rather watch sports and Prime Time television than follow the independent media, organize protests, and ask real questions.
I apologize for America herself but believe that there are people like me out there and that one day, we will make a difference. Give us time.
