I never voted for the guy. I did vote for the new tenant though. I'm confident that our new president will leave the world in better shape than it's in today eight years from now.

And then a republican will inevitably come and screw it up. Sorry in advance.

Dear Planet,

Although I didn't vote for the bum; I am sorry for the harm Bush caused. I also sorry about the spineless wimps in the Democratic Party that did not state up to Bush. They carry some of the blame.

Forgive us?

The world needs to understand that not all Americans are ignorant. Most know George Bush has committed war crimes and violated our own Constitution.

Barack Obama most likely will not bring Bush and company to justice but we are confident he will try to right the many wrongs Mr. Bush has done.

Sorry...

Gaza and the West Bank,

I'm sorry, not just for this president but for every president that has unconditionally supported Israel and it's brutal oppression.

I'm sorry that our free system will occasionally result in the election of a leader who puts the interests of our country ahead of yours. It's a good thing none of your leaders ever do the same thing.

I am sorry, but not in the way that many of these apologies are.

Sure, Bush was a horrible horrible president... but it was Americans who voted him into office...twice.

I am sorry that a large portion of our country are ignorant fundamentalists who's only important issues are abortion and gay marriage.

I am sorry that these people completely ignore the rest of the important issues such as education, foreign policy, health care, social security, etc. because they want to control the reproduction of this country.

I will continue to do my best to have my voice counteract these idiots.

Love, peace, and grease.

Sorry for our government. Our political parties have dissolved into one unified party of greed that has no concern or use for it's citizens. With the financial woes that are to come, we will soon be a harshly divided 2 tier population, and once that happens, it's civil war against the rich. Rome burns again. Too bad for the people and by the people got brushed under the rug while our gov't tried "help" the world.

Bush has been a terrible president. Perhaps the worst in my lifetime, and in the last century.
That being said, the Democrats didn't give us much of a choice in Kerry/Edwards, and they have not been doing a good job as the opposition party. The Democrats had an easy job--get someone the public would have liked better than Bush, but Clinton was too chicken to run (she would've won), and all the candidates in the 04 election weren't good.
Bush is representative of the lack of choice in a 2 party system.

As the reporter's lobby-loafer went over the President's head,
it said, "Shoe-it."
To which the ducker countered,
"No lie!"
Both over-heard remarks were judged ill-aimed, unable to hit the bull's eye.
