Dear world, I am very sorry that our president has failed to meet the standards we have put him up to. As an american, I feel that this is wrong, and if there was any way to repair this, I would surely do my best to do so.

This president is the single most embarrassing president we have ever had. A shoe needs to be planted on his face.

Im sorry for everything, our president is just the extension of our apathy, so i am sorry for our support for Israel, I am sorry for anti-intellectualism, I am sorry for our failed education and health care system, but I am most sorry that none of us truly care. I cry for us and our unforgivable sins.

Since the 2006 midterm elecitons America now has a Democratic congress but NOTHING has changed.

We now have Democratic President-Elect Obama who is NOW renegging on all of his campaign promises.

The Democrats and Republicans are the same organization!!

So much for "Change We Can Believe In"

Well now look at what has happenned.
He has destroyed everthing that he has ever touched. After years of raping the tax payers he`s going to put everyone over the barrel one last time. It was`nt enough that he stole from every country and every person in the world to line the pockets of his inner circle he made sure that he stepped on all of backs just one more time.
We are now all so worried about our jobs and families while he sits in the white house counting our money in his pocket`s.
The time will come when we will all take back what is rightfuly ours.
Our freedom and our countries.
So for now we wait there is a storm coming may god save us all.

I spent my adolescence growing up in a Bush administration. It made me cynical, disillusioned, and embarrassed. My first vote for president went to Barack Hussein Obama, and I can honestly say I have never been more proud to be a young person in America than I was on November 4, 2008.

I'm sorry for the blood that has spilled and the hate that has spread for the past 8 years. It may not be as simple as "forgive and forget," but come on, World, let's be friends again.

Dear World,

Please stop over-generalizing us Americans; not all of us are ignorant. But back to the topic, sorry for the last 8 years, hopefully we will all progress for the better.

Dear World,

I know you've been getting a lot of apology letters from us for the past few years, and for that, I'm sorry.
But, we elected Barack Obama to be our next president.

You're welcome.

Sorry about him. It was a fluke really. Not to many of us are really into him anyways. Well, Obama has won so January can't come soon enough. Please don't let him ruin your views on America. As well, to clear something up that I hear too often, no, we are not all as dumb as him or those people on the videos from Jay Leno.

It's sad how the rest of the world perceives the US after 8 quick years of incompetence. Comparing my international travels pre-Bush to present, it amazes me to witness the difference. I am only glad I can offer what I can to them and educate them that the pro-Bush administration was a mistake that is being corrected, and that the majority of US-loving American citizens do not stand by him or for him. It has become a small world, and those who think the US is the center of it needs to rehabilitate themselves to a full world economy, and a whole world view of all things if you want the US to continue to stay a competetive, respected nation as the world continues to move on. And if you choose to stay on our ignorant, arrogant path, you (and I) won't be part of the success in the world's future.

Dear world,
I am so sorry for the ignorance our country has shown the world. We have deemed ourselves the world police force and will try to destroy all those who don't subscribe to our way of "thinking". Our push for the world to become one giant democracy is self-centered and egotistical and should not be allowed to continue. I can't blame countries like Syria, and Iran for having anti-american rallies. We deserve it! Maybe one day we'll elect a government that worries a little more about cleaning up the troubles in our own country and not bullying ever5yone into being just like us.So again, I profusely apologize for our ignorance.

To those whose blood has been spilled, lives derailed and rights infringed upon, my most sincere apology. This country has been run by the self-righteous, self-entitled and morally compromised that believe they can wrap themselves in a flag. The damage of this past eight years cannot be reversed, just repaired through our efforts, yours, and time. Give a prayer for piece, forgiveness, understanding and compassion.

For the record, I voted for Gore in 2000 and Kerry in 2004, and I will vote for Obama in a week. It is my opinion that this never should have happened in the first place and illustrates a need to rethink our use of an outdated electoral college.

I am so sorry to the world that I love so dearly. I am not proud yet to say I am American. I believe in the diplomatic process we created at the beginning of this country but not its only for our own self gain. I believe we can work together and change this backwards society. I believe in a second chance. Will you take my hand and join me for a brighter, a better future? I pray for hope.

Dear World,
I apologize on behalf of the freethinkers in America. We know that our current president is a moron. We know that his politics are harmful to the world, and that his actions have cast the United States in such an awful light. I can't imagine how he was elected, but perhaps the damage is not irreparable. There are evidently a lot of ignorant idiots in the US who do not care to learn about the choice they are making by voting for a politician with such an appalling agenda.
Again, my apologies. I hope that you can forgive those of us who had nothing to do with his election, or with the rampant idiocy expressed by his supporters.

Sorry I pay my taxes to such a -BADWORD-ed up system. Sorry I won't just man up and start trying to do something about the system. Sorry everyone thinks the whole thing is about to be fixed because enough people got off their asses and pressed a button to put another corrupt bullshit politician in office. Hopefully they choose the lesser of two evils.

Dear world,
I want to apologize for the actions of my country. I apologize for the fact that we are mostly run by selfish and often ignorant people. I apologize for the fact that they have been put in charge of one of the most powerful militaries in the world, and that they have used it to threaten or cause so much undue suffering to the rest of you.
Most of all, I want to apologize for the fact that while my country claims to be the "champion" of liberty, we apparently do not have to hold ourselves to the same principles we are allegedly trying to spread. We are showing that the rights we cherish so much as being important for everyone only apply to the people within our country and it's OK to treat people from another country like animals.
Well it's not OK. If liberty truly is that important, we cannot pick and choose who we wish to apply it to or else it makes a mockery of what we stand for. Perhaps someday we will stop the hypocrisy and hold ourselves to the same standards we preach. Until then, I apologize for our actions and I ask you to forgive those of us who are trying to make it right.

I'm so sorry that there are so many uneducated, ignorant, arrogant, racist, hateful, spiteful, nasty people in America. I'm sorry they elected Bush, TWICE. I'm sorry we are corrupt. I'm sorry if we murdered any of your citizens.

Hopefully the smart people will step up this November 4, 2008 and elect a president who will have a brain and be able to use it well. I know I'm voting for him. GO BARAK!

I am so sorry for the actions of my president over these past eight years. When he was elected I knew it would be bad, but I could not imagine the extent of the damage he would cause. I'm sorry they elected him for a second term. Most were scared. Some were unaware. Others were just plain stupid. (It's easy to spot those people today.) We can't change the past, but we can all hope for a better future.
